Janet Hurst, All About Pets Grooming, 9300 S. Pennsylvania, contributes to homeless companion animals at the shelter by donating her grooming expertise to shelter dogs once a month. In addition to contributing her professional skills, she also also provides the shelter thrift store with handmade Barbie clothes!

These items are all excellent quality and start out at the ridiculously low price of $2.00! You cannot purchase brand new items such as this at any retail store for that price! All the proceeds from handmade items go directly to the pets and the shelter. Some of the items that Janet donates are:
Evening gowns, pant outfits, night gowns,
hats, and other accessories.

The Pets and People Thriftstore is located within minutes of the Pets and People shelter in downtown Yukon, Oklahoma. It is located just off main street at Fourth and Elm.

We have it all....crafts & sewing items, artificial silk flowers, small kitchen appliances,
office desk, bicyckles, child car seat, toddler bed, chairs, baby stroller for twins, conference room chairs, crutches, mirrors, hat rack, lamps & shades, pictures, candles & holders, flower vases & pots.

Pets & People Humane Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill humane society run by volunteers that rescue adoptable dogs and cats from municipal animal control facilities across the state of Oklahoma on the day they are to be euthanized. We provide a safe harbor for our pets until they are adopted into responsible, loving homes.
All are spayed or neutered to help end the vicious cycle of homeless pets.
