A FIGHT FOR SPECKLES' HEART
Speckles was rescued from the Oklahoma City shelter while pregnant and at risk of euthanasia. Since entering foster care, she safely delivered and raised six beautiful puppies. She has been the most loving, devoted mama, and now 2 of her puppies have already found forever homes. But just as Speckles was preparing for her next chapter, we received heartbreaking news. Speckles tested HEARTWORM POSITIVE.
Heartworm disease is painful, dangerous, and fatal if left untreated. Treatment is also extremely expensive, and we urgently need help covering the cost of her lifesaving care.
