Veterans Adoption Program

We are proud to support veterans by offering no-cost adoptions for eligible dogs and cats. Through this program, we thoughtfully match veterans with rescue animals in need of loving homes, while providing ongoing support to ensure a successful transition for both.

 

Veterans receive:

  • Carefully screened animal matches

  • No adoption fees

  • Generous training and post-adoption support

Join us on our incredible mission to support veterans at no cost while helping rescue dogs and cats find the loving homes they truly deserve. This program was created to honor those who have served by removing financial barriers and providing meaningful companionship through adoption. Every placement is intentional, supportive, and centered on long-term success for both the veteran and the animal.

How it works

  • We carefully screen both the animal and the veteran applicant to ensure the best possible match

  • Veterans apply through our adoption application (link here)

  • Once approved, our team works one-on-one with each veteran to select the right dog or cat for their lifestyle

  • All adoptions through this program are completely free to veterans

  • We also provide generous training resources and ongoing post-adoption support

Our commitment does not end at adoption. We are dedicated to ensuring the highest level of care and a smooth transition into a forever home.

Calling All Volunteers

This program would not be possible without community support. We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help our Veterans Adoption Program thrive.

We need:

  • Sponsors to help cover medical care, vaccines, and spay or neuter costs

  • Fosters to provide temporary homes for program pets

  • Administrative Support to help keep the program running smoothly
